A Successful Trip to London!

The Wall’s Savoury Pastry team had a fantastic trip to London showing off our yummy new products and eye-catching new packaging.

The Good Housekeeping Institute played host to our media day which saw a wide range of journalists and bloggers attend – we certainly whet their appetite and made sure nobody left with an empty stomach!

As well as a vast amount of samples, which included our new Breakfast Twists, traditional slices and of course, the jumbo sausage roll, we transformed an empty room to create four various and interactive scenes showing just how versatile Wall’s Savoury Pastry products are.

Firstly we created a picnic area with artificial grass, picnic table and all important traditional hamper to showcase the great products available, the ideal partner for such sharing occasions, including scotch eggs and mini sausage rolls.
We recreated a desker’s area! We all know sometimes it’s impossible to get away from your desk for a bite to eat, but with Wall’s Savoury Pastry, there are plenty of products that are ideal to grab whether it’s the new Saucy Savouries, Jumbo Sausage Roll or a delicious Peppered Steak Slice you need to keep you going.

When you’re in a rush and the kids need to be out after school, it’s vital they eat something. So what can Wall’s Savoury Pastry offer when scratch cooking isn’t always an option?

Well, at our kids quick dinner station, all of the tasty slices and sausage rolls were on offer and proved perfect to quickly pop in the oven and serve alongside a healthy salad or jacket potato; a yummy and quick dinner that puts a smile on everyone’s faces.

Our final station was possibly the most important, well it is when it comes to meals! It’s vitally important to eat breakfast but again we all know it isn’t always easy to get out of the door in a morning!

We at Wall’s have created Breakfast Twists, they come in two great flavours; sausage and egg or bacon and egg, wrapped in a nutritious flatbread with tomato relish and taking just one minute to cook in a microwave, they’re ideal for people on the go and needing a morning feed!

After visiting all the stations, journalists and bloggers tasted the samples to see for themselves how great the products were, they gave excellent feedback on the event and products and left with a goody bag to share with friends and colleagues.

“Plenty of people came to see the re-launch of an old favourite and showed a great interest in what we want to do at Wall’s Savoury Pastry.

“Following our re-brand, we really want to get it out there that Wall’s Savoury Pastry products are versatile and tick a lot of boxes for everybody. I think our media day did that and nobody left hungry after trying all of our samples!”
